Pam Fast - Director/Librarian

The Buhler Public Library completed phase one of our renovation and reopened for business on September 16, 2013! We now offer our community a beautiful new facility. Additions include shared areas for adults, teens and children. We provide a reading nook with a fireplace, study and reading tables and chairs, sofas, and a coffee bar. We offer our community a variety of services and materials in a comfortable and homey atmosphere.

Pam Fast has been the Director/Librarian for nineteen years. We are located in downtown Buhler. The library houses approximately 11,000 volumes including fiction, non-fiction, audio books, rotating books and numerous periodicals including The Hutchinson News. We also offer a wide selection of entertainment DVDs with new releases arriving weekly.

Services include outreach programs, inter-library loans, five computer work stations with high speed internet and printer, WiFi, fax machine, and copy machines.

Special story times and programs are held as posted. "FIZZ BOOM READ", the 2014 Summer Reading Program for ages preschool through 8th grade, "SPARK A REACTION" for teens and "LITERARY ELEMENTS" for adults will begin on May 15 and continue through August 15. Story times and crafts will be scheduled once a week during the program for children preschool through age 10. Registration will begin April 15.

New patrons are always welcome!
